About Amazon SageMaker AI
Amazon SageMaker AI, formerly named Amazon SageMaker, is a cloud-based fully managed machine learning (AI/ML) service, extends old SageMaker's capabilities with AI. Amazon SageMaker AI provides tools to build, train, and deploy AI & ML models at scale. It offers a wide range of AI & ML capabilities and helps you to build consumer or enterprise-scale AI products, agents, and solutions.
As of this post's date, Amazon is still refactoring its product offerings and trying to merge both ML and AI capacities.
Unlike Amazon Bedrock which focuses on Foundation models (FMs), Amazon SageMaker AI offers traditional ML models + other AI models + extends Bedrock's Foundation models (FMs) + extends other AWS integration and data stacks to give you the best of the breed ML & AI capabilities and scaling.
It's a center of data, analytics, ML, and AI.
